May years ago, I had a dear rescue cat, Millie, who was truly the soul-kitty beyond compare. When feeling silly, she had a habit of jumping into the bathtub and scratching the sides. The only other cat I'd seen do that in all the dozens I'd known in my life was Caleb. So, on one occasion I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom when Millie did her thing. Silently, I asked if she'd been Caleb in her former life, and if so, then please stop scratching, stand on the side of the tub, and look at me. Well guess what...she stopped scratching, stood on the side of the tub, and looked at me. Allllrighty then!

In August of 2023, there were severe storms in NE Ohio which spawned a series of F1 tornados in the early morning hours. Unfortunately, one passed over my house and felled a HUGE tree, which landed on my roof. It squashed about 1/3 of my home. Thank God, the bedroom part of the house was not damaged but the tree hit only about 15 yards from my bed. Here's the miracle: I woke around 1:00AM to my Bea cat shoving me and biting, totally out of character. Shortly after being rudely awakened, I heard tornado sirens going off. Grabbed the cats and my phone and headed for the central bathroom. After about 10 minutes of hearing chaos outside, I heard and felt the concussion of the ancient tree falling. Had Bea not wakened me, we likely would not have made it into the bathroom on time and would have been hit by falling debris. And, I found out only a few months ago (as I write this) from a friend who's a medium that my deceased best friend had been the one to alert Bea from Spirit. They both saved our lives!
