I'm showing my age - remember Madge, the "Palmolive lady" of the '60s and '70s? "You're soaking in it." I was recently reminded of Madge when I was given some wonderful words by a spiritual connection: Savor in the juices of life. Savor the rich flavors of what goes on around you. Swim in the abundant life force around you. Soak in it! What happens when something is soaked in a liquid? It is infused, it is imparted, it is filled with the essence of the liquid. Fill yourself, soak today!
What wonderful words of wisdom! Think of a dry new sponge, and what happens to it when dropped in a bucket of water. The sponge springs to life - flexible, springy, juicy life! And when you pull it out of the bucket, the excess just drips right out and back into the source of its life.
So, what are you soaking in today? Are you focused on lack, on busy-ness, on hurried tasks, on shoulda-woulda-can't-gotta? Or are you soaking in relaxed creation, allowing, love, fun, easy-ness? And are you soaking up so much of that deliciousness that you can't hold it all, and the extra drips out into the Universe to be shared? I confess, I woke up this morning on the down side of that thought. But now that I've chosen the up side, I feel excited, hopeful, expectant, delighted and eager!
Life - you're soaking in it!
